Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Recoupo collects, why we use it and the controls available to you.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password hash. If you connect a mailbox or import purchase messages, we process the information needed to identify purchases and post-purchase actions.
If you add an AI provider key, Recoupo encrypts that credential at rest and displays only a masked version after it is saved.
How Recoupo uses information
We use account and purchase information to operate your private workspace, identify returns, refunds, renewals, warranties and disputes, and show the next action available to you.
We do not use your mailbox contents to build advertising profiles. Genuine merchant action links come from the source data or configured provider information rather than being invented by the AI.
Mailbox connections
When you connect a supported provider, authorization is completed with that provider. Recoupo stores encrypted access and refresh tokens so it can maintain the connection. You can disconnect a mailbox from the Mailbox page.
Provider credentials are configured by the company operating Recoupo. The provider's own privacy policy and terms also apply to your use of that provider.
Sharing and security
Your records are scoped to your account. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the product, when required by law, or when you direct Recoupo to take an action.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Recoupo uses server-side authorization, encrypted credentials and standard transport protections to reduce risk.
Your choices
You can disconnect a mailbox, remove a saved BYOK credential, and request account or data deletion from the company operating Recoupo. Contact the operator using the support channel provided with your account.
